Location
Playa la Arena is located on the western coast of Tenerife. It has a delightful jet black beach (just 500m from the Luabay Costa Los Gigantes)
Locally there are many shops, bars and cafes etc. to choose from (5 minutes from the Luabay Costa Los Gigantes).
If you need to do more serious shopping, then the gorgeous resort of Los Gigantes is just down the road and well worth a visit (5/10 mins drive from the Luabay Costa Los Gigantes).
Playa la Arena is a great location, often overshadowed by the big resorts of Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje. But as it offers plenty of shops and bars and more importantly has the best sunshine record, I dont know why.
